#LifeInHouston - (Re)discovering East End and Eado

There’s a lot of cool places popping up in East End and Eado as of late, so we spent some time the other day checking out a couple of new places before finishing the night out with dinner at an old favorite.

Our first stop was White Rhino, a cocktail bar focused on sustainability and philanthropic efforts towards saving endangered species. The bar itself is quite cute, and their patio is pretty awesome. They also have great bar bites like tostadas, flautas, and tacos (which we ate too fast to take pics of).

Next we went to Roots Wine Bar, which is a wine tasting bar and lounge with self-serve wines tap. It’s a great way to sample several different wines, and all of the wines on top are also available for purchase by the bottle.

Then to wrap the evening up we had a great dinner at Indianola Restaurant. Christina had a little bit of fomo after Cabby had his bro-date with Phil the week prior, so we went back and had another great meal consisting of the Bone-in Berkshirepork Chop, Pull Apart Rolls, and Roasted Beets.

If you haven’t been keeping up with what’s been going on in East End & Eado, we definitely recommend hitting up these places whenever you get a chance.
