Meet JON ("CABBY")

Jon Caballero, commonly known as “Cabby” to many, is a native Houstonian who grew up in the northwest suburbs of the city. Thanks to a diverse background and work experience ranging from the corporate oil and gas sector to the world of men’s fashion, Cabby possesses a unique expertise that blends technical knowledge, data-driven analysis, and social media savvy with an eye for style and design. 

Upon graduating high school he spent 4 years at UT-Austin, where he earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from the McCombs School of Business. 

After graduating from UT he worked as a management consultant and financial systems auditor. Then in 2011 he decided to pivot away from the corporate world to pursue his dreams of entrepreneurship, opening The Class Room, a men’s clothing store and lifestyle boutique in Houston’s historic Rice Village. It’s also during this time he earned his real estate license. 

At the end of 2018, Cabby’s growing real estate business signaled to him it was time to close The Class Room and dedicate himself full-time to the real estate profession. And that’s exactly what he’s done since then, alongside his wife Christina Tran. Together, they operate as the Chris & Cab Team. 

Outside of real estate, Cabby loves to run, weight train, eat good food, and spend time with Christina and their adopted pittie Rocko. He still has an appreciation for men’s clothing and “copping new jawnz”. His vices include drinking too much coffee, and wanting to spend way too much money on home gym equipment and coffee/espresso gear.
